Maegan Harbridge is an artist and researcher based in Toronto, Canada. She is a PhD candidate at York University where she also teaches studio art.

Her research delves into the political nature of aesthetic experience, investigating the social and political implications of a material-based practice in an effort to further the debate regarding the social role of contemporary abstract painting.

Maegan holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and an MFA from the University of Guelph.
